Zambia’s Capital, Lusaka is a bustling town, and the main access hub to the tourist destinations of the South Luangwa, and Lower Zambezi National Parks. Although most International and Regional flights connect to the flight network to the National Parks, occasionally an overnight in Lusaka is required.

Lower Zambezi

The youngest of Zambia’s National Parks is set along the banks of the Zambezi River, and faces Zimbabwe’s famous Mana Pools area. Wildlife is excellent in the Park itself and the neighbouring Game Management Areas. The Park is easily accessed from Lusaka, but light aircraft transfer.

South Luangwa

Perhaps the best known of Zambia’s Parks, the South Luangwa is also home to the walking safari, and the guiding in this regard is exceptional. Most lodges also offer the more conventional game drives, and there is a selection of accommodation both within the park, and in private concessions border the Park.
