Tongabezi is situated in private estate on the banks of the Zambezi River, and is just 15 kilometres upstream from the Victoria Falls.

Accommodation is varied, with a choice of 4 unique open-fronted thatched Houses, 5 River Cottages, and 1 Garden Cottage (the only accommodation without a River view), which is ideal for a family, as it has a master bedroom, and separate twin room, along with a living room – all set within a private garden.

The houses (Honeymoon, Bird, Tree and Dog), are all individually designed and decorated, and enjoy excellent views of the magnificent Zambezi River. The houses are open fronted, and all boast a large open-air sunken bath. Each also has a deck, excellent for private dining.

Each of the 5 River Cottages has a large double bed or two singles, plus a mosquito net and en suite bath and shower, along with indoor and outdoor areas where you can dine under the stars or simply sit and enjoy the beauty and diversity of the area.

In addition, there is the Garden Cottage, which is ideal for a family or couple seeking luxury and privacy close to Victoria Falls. The cottage is set behind a private walled garden and is placed back from the River. Beautifully designed and furnished using local materials, it is fitted with a luxury king-size bed and has a private living room with fireplace, an open-air sunken bath and an additional twin bedroom.

In addition to the luxury accommodation, and beautiful setting, a valet service is offered for the houses and cottages.

Tongabezi offers a range of activities for its guests, including game drives, bush walks and sunrise and sunset boating trips. You might also wish to visit Victoria Falls, craft markets, the local village, and the school. Fishing is also available, as are picnics, and dining on the Zambezi (on a San Pan).

Tongabezi is also the perfect place to relax, and unwind.

Regrettably only children 7 years and older are accepted at Tongabezi.
